Description

RFP# JC-RIV-2-04 for the operation of the Carville Job Corps Center located in Carville, Louisiana, will be available on the world wide web Job Corps home page, http://wdsc.doleta.gov/jobcorps/, on or about May 2, 2003. It is anticipated that the resultant contract will be a cost-reimubursement plus incentive fee for a 2-year base period of January 1, 2004 through December 31, 2005, plus three governmental unilateral renewal options of one year each. The approximate average capacity strength is 200 residential students, 100 males and 100 females. A pre-proposal conference will be convened at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, May 14, 2003 at the Gillis Long Center located at 5445 Point Clair Road (Highway 141W), Carville, LA 70721-9607. There will be a tour of the facility following the pre-propsal conference. Upon entering the facility, participants are asked to report to Building 13, upstairs conference room. We recommend that you download the RFP prior to attending the conference. Proposals in response to this RFP will consist of oral presentations and written submissions as described in Section L of the RFP. Written portions of the proposal are due by 1:00 PM local time Thursday, July 10, 2003 to the Dallas Regional Office. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that shall be considered by the agency.
