Description

NA The Ohio Air National Guard is seeking sources sought for a potential 100 percent set-aside for HUB Zone small business concerns. IF ADEQUATE RESPONSES ARE NOT RECEIVED FROM HUB Zone SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS, THE ACQUISTION MAY BE SOLICITATED ON AN UNRESTRI CTED BASIS. This is a sources sought request. The work includes the ability to provide built-up roof replacement, asbestos removal and disposal, minor construction, including mechanical and electrical work at the 180th Fighter Wing, 2660 S. Eber Road, Swan ton, Ohio 43558-9645. Prime contractors who are HUB Zone small businesses and who intend to submit a bid for this solicitation MUST submit the following by 4:00 p.m. (EST) on 25 April 2003: Responses should include the following: (1) a positive statement of your intention to s ubmit a bid for this solicitation as a Prime Contractor; (2) date of HUB Zone small business certification; and (3) listing of experience in work similar in type and scope to include contract numbers, project titles, dollar amounts, and points of contact w ith their phone numbers; (4)evidence of capability to be bonded for bid, performance and payment bonds (5) If you are an Section 8(a) or HUB Zone considering a joint adventure, you will need to provide proof that this consideration has been forwarded to the cognizant SBA office for approval. Firms interested should provide the above documentation, in one original and one copy. All of the above must be submitted in sufficient detail for a decision to be made on the availability of interested H UB Zone concerns. Responses shall be limited to 5 pages. Failure to submit all information requested would result in a contractor being considered ?not interested? in this requirement. A decision on whether this will be pursued as a HUB Zone small busines s set-aside or an unrestricted basis will be posted as a modification.
