Description

NA The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, materials and equipment, and constructing the Upper Yazoo Projects, Item 7, Panola-Quitman Floodway and Tillatoba Creek Grade Control Structures in Tallahatchie County, Mississippi. The work includes const ruction of an access road with culverts and granular surface course, one riser pipe structure, and two grade control structures located on the Panola-Quitman Floodway and on Tillatoba Creek. Principal features of the work include mobilization and demobili zation, clearing and grubbing, diversion channel, engineering fabric, cofferdams, excavation, fill, backfill, embankment, filter stone, riprap, dewatering, control of water, erosion control, using the Government-furnished software (RMS) for electronic exch ange of information and management of the contract (See Section 01312 QUALITY CONTROL SYSTEM), providing as-built drawings (both blueline and electronic), gate, riser pipe structure, storm water pollution prevention, and environmental protection. All units of measure are metric. The estimated value of the proposed work is between $1,000,000.00 anand $5,000,000.00. Plans and specifications will be available on the Vicksburg Consolidated Contracting Office Web Page at http://www.mvk.usace.army.mil/contract/ and on compact disc at no charge.
