- The Regional Contracting Department, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC), Pearl Harbor, Hawaii intends on awarding a firm-fixed price contract for the acquisition of dumbbells and dumbbell racks. This requirement is set-aside for 100% small business participation. NAICS Code 339920, 500 employees. Award will be conducted under the provisions of FAR Part 12 Commercial Item and FAR 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Please include solicitation no. N00604-03-T-A735 on all quotes (quotes must include a completed representation and certification, provided as an attachment to this notice). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the acquisition of commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this announcement. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. All prospective quoters are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of amendments (if any) or other information pertaining to this solicitation. All responsible business concerns may submit a quotation in response to this synopsis, which shall be considered. This synopsis/solicitation is being issued incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisitions Circular 2001-13 and DFARS Change Notice 20030331. The Regional Contracting Department, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii intends to award a firm fixed price contract for the following: ITEM 001: 2 each Dumbbell Racks, Magnum M42 (3 Tier) Holds 15 Pairs (Color: White) ITEM 002: 8 each Dumbbell Racks, Magnum M84 (2 Tier) Holds 10 Pairs (Color: White) ITEM 003: 1 Set Pro Style Dumbbell, Hammertone Gray Cast Iron Plates 32 MM Chrome Handle 10 lbs. to 50 lbs. (Sold in pairs and graduate in 5 lb. increments) ITEM 004: 4 Sets Pro Style Dumbbell, Hammertone Gray Cast Iron Plates 32 MM Chrome Handle 5 lb. to 50 lbs. (Graduate in 5 lb. increments) ITEM 005: 3 Sets Pro Style Dumbbell, Hammertone Gray Cast Iron Plates 32 MM Chrome Handle End Plates have smooth radius to protect screws 55 lbs. to 100 lbs. (Graduated in 5 lb. increments) ITEM 006: 1 Set Pro Style Dumbbell, Hammertone Gray Cast Iron Plates 32 MM Chrome Handle End Plates have smooth radius to protect screws 105 lbs. to 130 lbs. (Graduated in 5 lb. increments) Custom ITEM 007: 2 Sets Pro Style Dumbbell, Hammertone Gray Cast Iron Plates 32 MM Chrome Handle End Plates have smooth radius to protect screws 105 lbs. to 150 lbs. (Graduated in 5 lb. increments) ITEM 008: 1 Set Pro Style Dumbbell, Hammertone Gray Cast Iron Plates 32 MM Chrome Handle End Plates have smooth radius to protect screws 20 lbs. to 40 lbs. (Graduated in 5 lb. increments). Quote shall be FOB Destination Pearl Harbor, Hawaii 96860 and should include the cost of shipping and delivery. Required delivery date is 6 to 8 weeks after award date or state best delivery date. The following clauses are applicable: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial Items, the following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: (1) Technically acceptable, (2) Price. Award will be made to the low cost, technically acceptable responsible offeror. Also applicable to this requirement are clauses FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items.
