Description

SYNOPSIS ? RADIO FREQUENCY (RF) SENSING TECHNOLOGIES. The Virginia Contracting Activity, on behalf of the Defense Intelligence Agency/Missile and Space Intelligence Center (DIA/MSIC), intends to issue a contract with Confluent RF Systems. The Scope of Work (SOW) is classified S/NF and will only be released to those vendors who have the technical expertise and the required clearance to view this information. The period of performance is one year. This effort is to produce prototype sensors needed to detect and locate specialized signals of interest. This acquisition is a follow on to a previous effort for which sensor engineering models and prototypes were developed. No request for proposals shall be issued other than this notice. The solicitation number is PAN # 30205-03. Proposals are due no later than 1200 noon Central Daylight Savings Time on the 2nd of June, 2003 and can be sent by facsimile, electronic mail, or mailed to Virginia Contracting Activity, Missile and Space Intelligence Center, Contracts Office, Attn: Major Scott D. Micklewright, Building 4545 Fowler Road, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5500. Email address: dimicsd@msic.dia.mil, or FAX # 256-313-7963. Only offeror?s submitting a proposal that contains a detailed technical response to include: the company?s RF expertise on similar type efforts; detailed methodology of how the SOW will be performed; key personnel proposed; and a detailed cost proposal that can be evaluated, will be further considered for this contract.
