- Description
- The Office of Response and Restoration (OR&R)of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's National Ocean Service requires Information Sciences Support for oil and hazardous chemical release prevention, preparedness, response, removal and restoration actions. Contractor tasks include: 1) Provide support services during spill response and restoration activities including on-scene sciences support and design, development and maintenance of science systems to support response actions. 2) Develop and maintain training for NOAA and other personnel in responding to oil and hazardous chemical releases. 3) Develop and prepare information that can be used to support local, regional and national contingency planning for oil and hazardous materials spills and other natural and technological incidents in coastal areas. 4) Develop and maintain information science systems that support all phases of the waste site characterization, remediation and restoration process. It is estimated that approximately 7,000 labor hours of support will be required annually. This will be an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with labor hour or time-and-material fixed price task orders. The contract performance period shall be one base year and four option years. This is a 100 percent small business set-aside.
