Description: (i)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) The solicitation number is F2SSPT3099010 and is being issued as a request for quotation. (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisitions Circular 2001-13. (iv) Notice: The solicitation is set-aside for Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 336214 with a size standard of 500 or few employees. (v) Contract line item 0001 is for two Adventurer 810WS Model year 2003 slide-in truck campers or Equal. (vi) Description is as follows: double fiberglass shell exterior, a/c, enclosed heated water tanks, manual jacks, microwave oven, 3 burner stove with oven, rubber roof, rubberized undercoating in all critical areas providing a moisture barrier, am/fm/cd, amplified t.v. antenna, 6 gal water heater, heated ducts surrounding the holding tanks, safety glass windows, t.v./vcr combo, 2 way refrigerator, DSI furnace, battery compartment, CO detector, ext. w/60? mattress, high density fiberglass insulation, monitor panel, cable t.v. pre-wire, 4 propane tanks, full fiberglass shower, sink cover, double sink, storage in-floor, power roof vent in bathroom, 12 volt water pump, sliding window, exterior yard light, gas leak detector, fire extinguisher, GFI exterior outlets, 12 volt 32 amp converter, oak doors, 2 group 24 cycle batteries. The campers must be equipped for protection against extreme cold weather situations. No Ozone Depleting Certification (ODC) is required. (vii)Required delivery is no later than 8 June 2003.
