- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation N61339-03-T-0036 is issued as a request for quote and incorporates the provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-12. This solicitation shall be awarded on a sole source basis to Caterpillar Inc., Mossville, IL. The NAICS Code for this solicitation is 335312 with a size standard of $6M. This solicitation sets forth the requirements for providing parts for Generator Model 7ML568G. The purchase will consist of one (1) Voltage Regulator Assembly (P/N G54527); one (1) Generator Bearing Assembly (P/N 15S038560000); one (1) Rotating Rectifier Assembly (P/N 40P000830000); one (1) Power Rectifier Assembly Hood Enclosure (P/N 19S025560201); and one (1) Power Rectifier Assembly (P/N 15S038560000). All parts listed will include the cost of shipping either included in the cost of the item or as a separate line item. Shipment of all parts will be FOB Destination to NAVSUBASE New London, NAWC ISEO (Bob Nazro), Bldg 152, Groton, CT 06349-5048. Additional information, if needed, can be obtained through the Naval Air Warfare Center web site located at http://www.ntsc.navy.mil/EBusiness/BusOps/Index.cfm. Be advised that periodic access to this web site is essential for obtaining updated information and the latest information regarding this solicitation. No further information will be posted to this web site. Award will be made in the form of a Firm Fixed Price Purchase Order. The anticipated award date is O/A 9 May 03. Acceptance shall be made at destination (Groton CT). The following FAR/DFARS provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: 52.212-1, 52.212-3, 52.212-4, and 52.212-5 Deviation. FAR/DFARS clauses can be located at the following site: http://www.arnet.gov/far. FAR 52.212-1(b) is amended to read: NAVAIR-Orlando TSD, Attn: Louise Williams, Code 25332, 12350 Research Parkway, Orlando FL 32826 at or before 1500 (3:00 PM), EST, 6 May 2003. The following clauses of DFARS 252.212-7001(a), (b) and (c) apply: 52.203-3, 252.225-7001, 252.225-7012, 252.243-7002 and 252.247-7023.
