- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to purchase the following item on a Brandname or Equal Basis: One (1) each Fan Matrix Switch, Racal Instruments, Inc. Product No. 407804-X-1981 8x8 RF Non-Blocking Full Fan-out Matrix Sys.500 MHz-4GHz. The Fan Matrix Switch provided shall have the following performance characteristics: (1) Matrix Configuration: 8 x 8, Non-Blocking, Full Fan-out; (2) Frequency Range: 0.5 to 4 GHz; (3) Gain: 0dB+/- 1.5dB; (4) Isolation: Input/Input 60 dB, Input/Output 60dB, Output/Output 40dB, Output/Output (different input) 60dB, Output/Output (same input) 14dB; (5) Noise Figure: 10dB; (6) Intercepts, 3rd Order: +12dBm; (7) VSWR: 2.0:1; (8) Max Survivable Input: +0dBm; (9) Switching Speed: 5-15 ms; (10) Impedance: 50 Ohms; (11) Power Required 115/230 VAC, 50-60 Hz; (12) Connectors: RF N-type or SMA, AC Standard Detachable Power Cord; (13) Remote Control Interface: RS-232 (minimum); (14) Unit must fit a standard 19 inch rack; (15) Options for RS-422, RS-485 and TCP/IP (RJ-45 connection type); and (16) Front panel control. The item shall be delivered, inspected, and accepted FOB destination to NSWCDD. The Government will award a purchase order from this solicitation to the responsible vendor whose quote conforms to the solicitation and meets all the technical specifications at a reasonable price. If quoting on other than the Brandname specified above, clearly indicate what Brandname is being offered and provide descriptive literature showing that the proposed product is an equal. This announcement constitutes the only written notice; a quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used in accordance with FAR 13. The closing date is COB 30 April 2003. Quotes may be provided via fax to (540) 653-6810, Attn: XDS13-14 or via e-mail to XDS13@nswc.navy.mil reference quote #N00178-03-Q-3022. The anticipated award date is 05 May 2003. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-12 dated 27 January 2003 and DFARS Change Notice date 14 February 2003. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 334515 with a size standard of 500. The applicable DPAS rating is DO-A7. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100 has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area, therefore the synopsis/solicitation with any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil.supply.
