Description

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission in Egypt anticipates award of a five (5) year indefinite quantity contract (IQC) for the provision of technical services to identify, procure, manage, and monitor short-term and long-term training of individuals and groups in the United States, Egypt, and third countries. This proposed IQC is the competitive contract action for a multi-year, centralized, follow-on training activity referenced in the FEDBIZOPPS presolicitation notice entitled "Continuation of Technical Services for the Development Training II Project in Egypt" which was posted on August 29, 2002. USAID/Egypt intends to make one (1) award under the solicitation to the most responsible firm/organization whose proposal offers the best value to the government. The solicitation will be posted on the FEDBIZOPPS web page (www.fedbizopps.gov) approx. 15 days after the date of this notice. In accordance with FAR 5.102(d) availability of the solicitation is limited to this electronic medium only. Requests for other copies of the solicitation will be disregarded without notice to the requestor. No phone requests will be accepted and no solicitation will be available for pick-up. It is the responsibility of the recipient to ensure that the solicitation is received from the internet in its entirety, and USAID bears no responsibility for errors resulting from the transmission or conversion process. All questions shall be submitted in writing via email to pshirk@usaid.gov and must be submitted within 10 calendar days after issue date of the solicitation. Following solicitation issuance, any amendments thereof will be posted on the internet, and interested parties should check the web-site regularly. The publication of this notice or the solicitation does not obligate the Government to make an award.
