Description

Contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, supervision, equipment, materials and operators necessary to perform Project MIN 02-6014, entitled Install Firestops, Missile Alert Facilities at Minot Air Force base, ND in accordance with contract terms and conditions and plans and specifications. Work is 50% general, 30 % mechanical, and 20% electrical. Project has base approval. Water and electricity required will be furnished by the government. Delivery orders will be in a restricted area. The contract period shall be the base year plus one option year, which will be awarded at the discretion of the government. The performance period will be defined on each delivery order. The NAICS classification is 236220 and the small business size standard is $28.5 million. STATEMENT OF MAGNITUDE: $200,000.00 (minimum) $1,000,000.00 (maximum). NOTICE TO PROCEED: Notice to proceed will be issued on each delivery order. CAUTION: There is no Western Union or other telegraphic terminal at the 5th Contracting Squadron. Offerors are reminded that it is their responsibility to ensure timely arrival of any telegraphic amendments. TELEGRAPHIC OFFERS ARE NOT AUTHORIZED. NOTICE: Faxed offers, offer revisions and/or amendments to offers are NOT AUTHORIZED. NOTICE: Include Contractor Cage Code and Establishment Code in Block 14 of SF 1442. NOTICE: FAR Clause 52.232-27, Prompt Payment for Construction is included in this solicitation. NOTICE: This requirement will be competed as full and open competition. Project solicitation, specifications, and drawings will be made available only on the internet at https://www.eps.gov on or about 27 Mar 2003.
