Description

The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price Contract to Northrop GrummanCorporation (NGC) to perform maintenance, modification, and repair to a maximum of seven (7) EA-6B aircraft. Work to be accomplished will consist of Planned Maintenance Interval One (PMI1) and/or the replacement of Wing Center Sections (WCS) to the aircraft in accordance with specifications outlined under the Integrated Maintenance Concept (IMC) based system and in the accompanied Statement of Work. The scope of work to be accomplished to the aircraft will be of the following three types: PMI1, one aircraft, PMI1 with concurrent installation of WCS, four aircraft, and Installation of WCS, two aircraft. Work is expected to begin on the first inducted aircraft on 1 December 2003 with the scheduled date for completion of the last inducted aircraft by 1 May 2005. All identified work will be accomplished at Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation facility in St. Augustine, FL. Numbered Notes 22, NAVAIR Synopsis No. 20030-30.
