- Description
- McConnell AFB, KS, intends to award a contract to repair fuel tank concrete rings at McConnell AFB. The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools, expertise, testing, surveying, equipment, reports, samples, warranties and transportation necessary to repair fuel tank concrete rings. The performance period for this project will be ninety days. Simplified acquisition procedures will be utilized and award criteria will be based on what is most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered. The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 23332. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The solicitation will be issued as a small business set-aside; however, large businesses are encouraged to participate. The solicitation will be issued on or around 6 May 2003, via the Government Federal Business Opportunities web site at https://www.eps.gov/. It is the responsibility of each offeror to review the web page for notices of amendments. A site visit will be conducted on or about 20 May 2003 at McConnell AFB, KS. No hard copies will be mailed.
