Description

Assess aquatic habitat conditons and distribution, abundance, and biomass of westslope cutthroat trout and other fishes in selected streams in the study area. Survey for amphibians and their associated habitats. Identify and evaluate watershed characteristics potentially influencing the effects of activities such as oil and gas development on aquatic resources. The study area includes 53,503 acres within three townships along the Rocky Mountain Front in Teton County, Montana. Field work must be completed by September 1, 2003 and the final product will be no later than November 30, 2003. The estimated cost is between $25,000 and $100,000. The proposed award is 100% set aside for small business concerns. Solicitation will be available on or about May 7, 2003.
