- Description
- Sole Source: Pratt & Whitney San Antonio, Inc. This acquisition is for overhaul and remanufacture of the four major modules of the F100-PW-229 engine in support of F-15 and F-16 Aircraft. These modules are the Core, the High Pressure Turbine (HPT), the Low Pressure Turbine (LPT), and the Inlet Fan (Fan). The proposed acquisition will implement a bridge contract in accordance with AFMC direction to continue current level of support to the field while this workload transitions from contractor to organic. The acquisition will be a fixed price incentive IDIQ contract for overhaul and remanufacture of end items and services, including total logistics management and support including a 2-yr basic period with four 1-yr options.
