Description

The contractor shall provide all the necessary labor, equipment, materials and supervision required to prepare and pave the existing stone surface area of the storage compound at the Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base, Willow Grove, PA. Approximate area to be paved is 42,525 SF. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 238990. The size standard is $12.0. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price construction type contract. The procurement will be obtained utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This solicitation is issued UNRESTRICTED open to small and large business concerns. The period of performance shall be 45 days after contract award. The estimated Cost Range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The solicitation (specification) will be limited to the electronic medium. The specification WILL NOT be provided in a paper hard copy format or CD ROM. The address for downloading this solicitation from the Internet is http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. Registration and downloading from the Internet is free of charge; however, some specifications may take a considerable amount of time to download. All prospective quoters are required to register on the Naval Facilities Engineering Command ESOL website for this procurement WHEN specifications become available. An official plan holder list will be maintained on and can be printed from the website. If you fail to register, the Government CANNOT be responsible for your being notified of any amendments to the solicitation. The solicitation will be available on or about 20 May 2003. Notification of any changes to this solicitation (amendments) shall be made only on the Internet. Therefore the contractor’s responsibility to check the Internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. In addition, all contractors are required to register in the Department of Defense (DoD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Failure to register in the CCR may render your firm ineligible for award of DOD contracts. Information regarding this registration may be obtained by accessing the website at http://www.ccr.gov or by referring to DFARS Subpart 204.703. NOTE: Offerors should submit verification of their firm’s registration in the CCR database with their offer.
