- Description
- The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB intends to solicit and award a sole source, Firm-Fixed Price contract, under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, to Avionics Test & Analysis Corporation (ATAC) of Niceville, FL. The SIC Code is 7371. The NAICS code is 541511. The items to be procured are as follows: Data Processing System (DPS) software support through February 2007. The contractor will be required to meet the following requirements: Provide support of various versions of the Avionics Test and Analysis Corporation (ATAC) manufactured DPS software, to include all phases of follow-on software development, coding, maintenance, and test infrastructure support as tasked at Edwards AFB CA. Software development and maintenance include: requirements definition, code design, debug, documentation, and maintenance to support the DPS licenses. DPS test infrastructure support includes: data manipulation and analysis; database design; software tool development; and test design and development. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government’s requirement. In addition, the response should include any special requirements for a commercial contract (i.e., Commercial Financing, Warranty Provisions, Delivery Information, etc.) in accordance with FAR Part 12. Anticipated Award date is May 5, 2003. Responses must be received no later than (NLT) 2:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time, May 2, 2003. Responses should be submitted to: Directorate of Contracting, AFFTC/PKS (Evelyn Ross), 5 South Wolfe Avenue, Building 2800, Edwards AFB, CA 93524-1185, Fax: (661) 275-7853. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received within 10 days of the publication of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Facsimile and electronic mail responses are acceptable and must be received on or before the closing date. Telephone requests to be placed on a mailing list will not be honored.
