- Description
- The Air Armament Center (AAC), Eglin AFB, FL intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price contract for 8 PIN MICROWAVE SWITCHES. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The announcement number is F33TSP31060100. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This acquisition will be a full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334419, with a small business standard size of 500 employees. Please identify your business size in your response based upon this standard. The requirement is for CLIN 0001: 8 PIN SWITCHES WITH THE FOLLOWING SPECIFICATIONS: 8-12 GHz, SINGLE POLE – DOUBLE THROW, PEAK POWER: 2000W, AVG POWER; 80W, 1.0 MICROSECOND SWITCHING SPEED, 1.1 dB INSERTION LOSS, FREQUENCY BAND – OCTAVE, WITHIN MODULE RANGE; ISOLATION; 40 dB, VSWR (RETURN LOSS) - 1.8:1 MAX, TTL COMMAND RATE - 100 KHz, RF CONNECTORS – SMAF, BIAS, LOGIC – SOLDER PINS (SPST, SPDT) - DEM-9 (SP3T, SP4T), BIAS, POWER - +5V @ 300 mA MAX, -50V @ 40mA MAX, LOGIC – RS-422 BALANCED. TEMP RANGE -50 TO +85C. The pin switches are to be delivered, FOB Destination, no later than 16 July 2003, to Eglin AFB, Florida.
