- Description
- Sealed bids from all business concerns will be accepted for Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park Project PRA-FRSP 13(1), 15(1), 16(1), 17(1), 21(1), 100(1) and 300(1) in Spotsylvania and Caroline Counties, Virginia. This project consists of rehabilitating the following park roads: RTE 13 ? Furnace Road, Sickles Drive, Stuart Drive, and Bullock Road; Rte 15 ? Berry-Paxton Drive; RTE 16 ? Jackson Trail East; RTE 17 ? Jackson Trail West; RTE 21 ? Jackson Shrine Road; RTE 100 ? Hancock Road; RTE 300 ? McCoull House Road. The project is expected to fall within the price range of $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. This project was originally posted on October 7, 2002. Bid documents are scheduled to be issued on or about May 12, 2003. Bids will be due on or about June 17, 2003. Please call 703-404-6288 to verify availability of the bid documents. Final issue and due dates and the list of planholders will be posted on our website under ?Procurement Information?. Internet address: www.efl.fhwa.dot.gov. At this time, plan sheets are available on Compact Disk only. To request a copy of the plans for this project, you must email your request to eflhd.contracts@fhwa.dot.gov . Request must include the solicitation number, project name and number; requesting firm and address; a point of contact; and telephone number. All requests for bid documents will be mailed first class. It is strongly recommended that requests for bid documents be received 7 calendar days before bid opening to ensure receipt of requested materials. Requests for 'faxing' or overnight mailing will not be accepted. ATTENTION: Minority, Women-owned, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs). The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. DOT's Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOT's Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $500,000 with interest at the prime rate.
