Description

The U. S. Bureau of Reclamation plans to issue a Request For Proposal (RFP) for a firm-fixed price construction contract to design, manufacture, furnish, install and test two replacement turbine runners and associated equipment. The associated equipment consist of but is not limited to the following; (1) two digital electronic-hydraulic governors; (2) two generator armature windings (including new circuit ring buses); (3) two stator cores; (4) two brushless exciters with permanent magnet generators and; (5) two digital voltage regulators. The work also requires the contractor to disassemble, remove, reinsulate, reinstall, and test two existing generator field windings for station service units S1 and S2 at the Shasta Power Plant, Shasta Division, Central Valley Project, California. The magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. This is an unrestricted solicitation all offers from responsible concerns will be considered. FAR clause 52.219-4 "Notice of price evaluation preference for HUBZone small business concerns" applies. Solicitation 03SP200022 will be posted on the FEDBIZ OPS web site at http://ideasec.nbc.gov on or about May 9, 2003 and offers are due on or about June 11, 2003.
