Description: The United States Small Business Administration intends to award a sole source contract to The National Research Council of National Academies, Division of Behavioral and Social Sciences and Education. The contract will evaluate a preliminary draft study prepared under the authority of Section 8(m) of the Small Business Act (Act), 15 U.S.C 637(m), conducted by SBA's Office of Federal Contract Assistance for Women Business Owners (CAWBO). The preliminary draft study seeks to determine the utilization of women-owned small businesses (WOSBs) in federal contracting for purposes of exercising the statute to make contract awards. This is not a solicitation, no solicitation document will be issued. See Numbered Note 22.
