Description
MODIFICATION 1: THE PURPOSE OF THIS MODIFICATION IS TO EXTEND THE RESPONSE DATE TO APRIL 29, 2003. ALL OR NONE. MUST MEET ALL SPECIFICATIONS. SPECIFICATIONS REQUIRED. F.O.B. DESTINATION. LOWEST PRICE TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE (LPTA). REQUIRED DELIVERY: JUNE 1, 2003 (Period of Performance: June 1, 2003 through May 31, 2004). All responsible small businesses may submit a quote which if timely received shall be considered by the agency. GSA Contract #___________________________ Vendors shall fax UPLOADED quote by the deadline to P.O.C. Vendors shall call to confirm receipt after faxing UPLOADED quote. McGhee (703) 875-4566; Fax: (703) 875-6292. ***This requirement incorporates prices for one year. Each line item shows the unit price per month X 12 months. Line Items 3,4,and 5 are only if required and/or emergency services.**** *** STATEMENT OF WORK REQUIREMENTS: The Department of State's OBO/IRM requires secure transmission and storage of all computer data backup tapes created by OBO/IRM. This data is critical to the operation of OBO. In the event of a catastrophe, the data contained on the tapes would be necessary for OBO to successfully perform its mission. IRM requires a vendor to visit State Annex 6 (SA-6), Arlington, Virginia, on a regular basis. Description of services required: 1. Regular Scheduled Delivery: Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Four regular deliveries per month. 2. Contractor must physically transport 20 plastic tubs with backup tapes stored within. 3. If required, non-scheduled delivery service: 24-hour delivery during normal business hours. 4. If required, emergency delivery Service: 2-hour delivery service during normal business hours. 5. If required, after-hours emergency delivery service: 2-hour delivery service after normal business hours, weekends and holidays. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE One calendar year. SECURITY REQUIREMENTS Some contract personnel providing support services under this task order may have to handle classified data. Contractor personnel will be required to have at least a Defense Security Service (DSS) Secret clearance before commencing work on this task. PLACE OF PERFORMANCE The contract staff shall perform some activities under this task order at U.S. Government facilities: U.S. Department of State, State Annex 6, Arlington, VA. Work will be performed on-site at the OBO, Room 1205, 1701 North Ft. Myer Drive, Arlington, VA 22209. PLACE OF DELIVERY Distribute contract deliverables to the Project Manager at the following location: USPS mailing address: U.S. Department of State SA-6 OBO/IRM 1701 N. Ft. Myer Dr. Arlington, VA 22209 Physical location: U.S. Department of State SA-6, Room 1205 OBO/IRM 1701 N. Ft.
