Description

NA Furnish all equipment, materials, labor, and all things necessary for the removal of the existing motor control center and the installation of a new motor control center including all breakers, panels, starters, transformers, and all other devices required for installation within the new MCC enclosure in accordance with schedule, specifications, and drawings. Work is located at Okatibbee Dam, Meridian, Mississippi. It is anticipated that a Fixed-Price contract will be awarded. This procurement is unres tricted. The small business size standard for which is a concern, not more than 750 employees under NAICS 335313. NOTE 1: A site visit is contemplated; however, a date has not been established. NOTE 2: The solicitation package will be available on or about 01 May 2003. All Offerors will be notified electronically of when the solicitation will be available for downloading. All notifications of changes to the solicitation will also be made through the Internet. NOTE 3: The solicitation will not be provided in a printed paper format, however, the Government reserves the right to revert to paper medium when it is determined to be in the Government?s best interest. Therefore, Offerors (to include subcontractors and Dodge/Plan Rooms) are required to s elf-register their firm or office on the Internet and download the solicitation at the following site: http://www.sam.usace.army.mil/sam/ct. NO TELEPHONE, FAXED OR MAILED requests will be accepted. Those registering are responsible for the accuracy of th e information on the mailing list.
