- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division intends to purchase the following items on a Sole Source Basis from Acqiris USA, 234 Cromwell Hill Road, Monroe, NY 10950-1430: Ten (10) each Digitizers, Acqiris Model Number DC110. The items are being acquired on a sole source basis because the DC110 is the only single slot 3U size 1 GS/s digitizer on the market. The digitizer provided shall have the following salient characteristics: (1) Digitizer Card Size: Compact PCI, 3U Single Slot, (2) ?3 dB Bandwidth from DC to 250 MHz, (3) Full Scale Range: 50mV, 100mV, 200mV, 500mV, 1V, 2V, 5V, (4) Input Impedance: 50 Ohm +/- 1%, 1 MOhm (10 pF), (5) Vertical Offset: +/-2V at 500mV FSR and below, +/-20V otherwise, (6) Input Coupling: DC or AC, (7) Digitizing Rate: 1GS/s minimum, (8) Resolution: 8 bits minimum, (9) Acquisition Memory: 128,000 Points, (10) Acquisition Modes: S ingle Shot or Sequenced, (11) Maximum Number of Segments Acquired: 200, (12) Pre Trigger: Adjustable up to 100% FS, (13) Post Trigger: Adjustable up to 200 MPoints, (14) Maximum Power Consumption: 15W. In addition, the digitizer shall meet the following special requirement: the digitizer shall be fully compatible with the National Instruments PXI-8145 Embedded Controller. The delivered product should include all necessary drivers for the LabView Real Time Development System. The offeror shall provide a copy of any warranty applicable to the items contained in this solicitation. All items shall be delivered, inspected, and accepted FOB destination to NSWCDD. Delivery for these digitizers shall be within 4 to 6 weeks after receipt of order. The government will award a contract from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation, meets all the technical specifications at a reasonable price, and has a satisfactory past performance history for providing the same or similar items. The offeror shall provide with its offer a list of previous sales of the same or similar items with a description of the item, quantity, contract number, name of organization, point of contact, and telephone number and/or e-mail address. This announcement constitutes the only written notice; a quote is being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used in accordance with FAR 13. The closing date is COB 7 May 2003. Quotes may be provided via fax to (540) 653-6810, Attn: XSD13-12 or via e-mail to XDS13@nswc.navy.mil reference quote #N00178-03-Q-3025. The anticipated award date is 13 May 2003. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in e ffect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-13 dated 18 March 2003 and DFARS Change Notice dated 31 March 2003. The North American Industry Classification System code is 334515, with a size standard of 500. The applicable DPAS rating is DO-A70. This procurement will be awarded on an all or none basis. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100 has implemented Electronic Commerce (EC) in the acquisition area, therefore the synopsis/solicitation with any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/supply/. Hard copies will not be provided. Vendors should regularly access the NSWCDD website to ensure they have downloaded any and all amendments. Interested parties other than Acqiris must be able to demonstrate, in writing, their capability to provide a product that me ets all requirements specified herein.
