Description

The Intramural Research Program of the National Institute on Aging (NIA), NIH leases approximately 4,100 square feet of office space in the Triad Technology Center, 333 Cassell Drive, Suite 4000, Baltimore, MD 21224 (located on the grounds of Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center). The space, which is located on the 4th floor, requires renovation. It is not occupied currently. Renovations shall consist of demolition of partitions, walls, doors, and limited casework to include all related electrical, mechanical and plumbing work and removal of materials and debris. It shall also include removal of ceiling tiles and installation of new ceiling tiles to be furnished by the NIA. Where removal of partitions or walls results in adjacent spaces becoming one, the floors, walls and ceilings shall be reworked. One office suite shall be renovated to include installation of new ceiling tiles and lighting. Primary products and materials will be the same as the existing structure. Existing walls shall be patched where abutting partitions have been removed. New work shall include installation of new walls, duplex outlets, data outlet boxes, electronic lock assembly, replacement of missing down lights, trim existing doors, and finish new surfaces.
