Description
Architect-Engineering (A-E) Services. One or more open-end Architect-Engineering (A-E) Contract(s) for investigation and design of routine miscellaneous projects as required. The projects will involve primarily mechanical/electrical services, with architectural, civil, and structural engineering support as required, and well as removal of asbestos and lead-based paint where encountered. Construction costs of the individual projects will range between $5,000 and $3,000,000. The contracts will run over a one-year period, with a possible option year. The selected firm(s) is guaranteed a minimum of $5,000 each in fees. With the exception of the initial order, no individual order will exceed $299,000 in fees. The cumulative fees for each contract will not exceed $499,000.00. The A-E firms will be evaluated on the following significant factors in relative order of importance: Professional qualifications, professional capacity, specialized experience, past performance, location, automated computer aided design drafting capability (AUTOCADD Version 2000), and volume of work. A-E Firms desiring consideration should be multi-disciplined or clearly indicate their consultants or joint ventures. The anticipate disciplines required for these projects are: Architectural, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541330. This project will be solicited full and open competition. A-E firms desiring consideration must also submit both SF 254 (Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire) and SF 255 (Architect-Engineer and related Services Questionnaire for Specific Project) with appropriate data as described within.
