Description
NA The US Army Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM) is soliciting information from potential sources to provide Engineering and Technical Support Services to support the design and integration of Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) Systems in th e Greater New York, New Jersey and Connecticut Metropolitan area. These programs include integrated Electronic Security Systems, Law Enforcement Systems, and Engineering Network Systems, among others. Potential sources must have demonstrated expertise and proven quick response capabilities in engineering and technical support services in support of Command Control Communications Computers and Intelligence (C4I) systems encompassing the full spectrum of planning, development, design, procurement, site prepar ation, installation, testing, training, engineering, technical and life cycle support for complex integrated Security and Law Enforcement programs and projects. Each potential source is requested to provide a description of work to be performed, including specifically demonstrated expertise for evaluation purposes. Only provide information on demonstrated performance with examples of reports or other documents. Do not include any documentation or percentages for any one company other than your own. This is an analysis of your company's abilities of what it can perform based on previous experiences in any of the following multi-operational segments. 1) Experience in the Greater New York, New Jersey and Connecticut Metropolitan area with the ability to provide engineering and technical support services in Electronic Security and Law Enforcement System programs to include: a) Engineering Development, b) Design, c) Procurement, d) Fabrication, e) Configuration Management, f) Installation, g) Integration, h) Maintenance, and i) Life Cycle Support 2) Experience and ability to provide engineering and technical support services in functional areas including: a) Sophisticated sensor technology development, integration and implementation; b) Electronic Security System (ESS) equipment and integration; c) Information Systems Security (ISS); and d) Associated wired and wireless communications, network, and peripheral equipment/systems. 3) Experience within the Greater New York, New Jersey and Connecticut Metropolitan area with the ability to provide engineering and technical support services in the following areas: a) Device technologies; b) Control of electronic, electrical, and mechanical sensor systems and devices; c) Command, Control, Communications, Computer, and Intelligence (C4I) systems equipment and integration; and d) Management of complex multi-discipline engineering projects to include large-scale systems integration and physical construction within densely populated urban locations. This is considered a new requirement; therefore there is no previous contract information available. This notice is for planning purposes only. Firms are invited to submit the appropriate documentation as described above in addition to any literature, broc hures, and references necessary to support their capabilities necessary to meet or exceed the stated requirements. There is a page limit of fifteen (15) on information, specifically prepared in response to this Sources Sought Notice. Responses must include the following: (1) name and address of firm; (2) size of business, including: average annual revenue for past three years and number of employees; (3) ownership, indicating whether: Large, Small, Small Disadvantaged, 8(a), Women-Owned, HUB-Zone, Service Disabled Veteran-Owned, and/or Veteran-Owned Business; (4) number or years in business; (5) two points of contact, including: n ame, title, phone, fax, and e-mail address; (6) DUNS Number (if available); (7) affiliate information, including parent corporation, joint venture partners, potential teaming partners, prime contractor (if potential sub) or subcontractors (if potential pri me); (8) a list of customers for relevant work performed during the past five years, including a summary of work performed, contract number, contract type, dollar value for each contract referenced, and a customer point of contact with phone number. This s ynopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the government. This is not a solicitation announcement for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement, or any follow-up information requests. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. The government reserves the right to consider a small business s et-aside or 8(a) set-aside based on responses hereto.
