- Description
- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Division of Migratory Bird Management, will request proposals from interested parties to conduct a survey of the golden eagle (Aquila chrysaetos) in four Bird Conservation Regions in the western United States. The Request for Proposal will have one objective: to estimate adult, subadult, and juvenile golden eagle population sizes in the study area using an approach that, if replicated annually, would be suitable to detect an annual rate of population change. Consortia composed of more than one group proposing work on this objective are welcomed, but a lead entity must be identified. The solicitation is expected to be posted electronically on or about May 15, 2003. Interested contractors can obtain a copy of the solicitation by accessing http://ideasec.nbc.gov/ecprod/owa/ecmenu$.firstcount.
