- The Department of the Interior, Minerals Management Service intends to make a firm-fixed price, sole-source award to Oracle Corporation. This non-competitive action is being issued by GovWorks under the authority of the Department of the Interior Franchise Fund on behalf of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), Arlington, VA. This action is being processed in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source. MDA has a requirement for technical assistance and version updates for Oracle programs purchased through MDA. Oracle Corporation owns the source code to all Oracle programs and is therefore the only authorized supplier of technical support services for the Oracle programs purchased by MDA. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities or submit proposals. This is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the government will consider all proposals received within 5 working days after the date of publication of this synopsis. All expressions of interest shall be faxed to 703-787-1009 (Attn: Lydia Hendershot) or emailed to Lydia.Hendershot@mms.gov to be considered by the government. Phone calls will not be accepted or acknowledged. A determination by the government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
