Description

It is the intention of this Solicitation to obtain Pavement Marking services at the Naval Submarine Base New London, Groton, CT by means of an Indefinite Quantity Simplified Acquisition Procurement with a minimum guarantee of $2,500.00. The contract will be for a base year and one (1) option period to be exercised by the Government if found to be in its best interests. The option may be exercised without further notice. FAR Clause 52.217-8, Option to Extend Services, will be included in this solicitation. The contractor shall be responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, supervision and management to provide miscellaneous epoxy and fast drying reflectorized pavement markings, stripes and legends. The NAICS Code is 237310, and has a Small Business Standard of $28.5 million. The RFQ will be available only on the Internet. The RFQ will be issued using full and open competition (unrestricted) and is therefore subject to Federal Acquisition Regulation Clause 52.219-4, Notice of Price Evaluation Preference for HubZone Small Business Concerns. The solicitation will be available in electronic format only. The address for downloading this solicitation from the Internet is: www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Per the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFAR) has been amended to require all contractors to register in the Department of Defense (DOD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Database. Failure to register in the CCR may render an offeror ineligible for award of DOD contracts. Information regarding this registration may be obtained by accessing web site: www.ccr2000.com or by referring to DFAR Subpart 204.73. Offerors should submit verification of their firm?s registration in the CCR Database with their quote.
