Description

Repaving of Turkey Fork Recreation Area Roads- Project is located 35 miles East of Hattiesburg, MS on the Chickasawhay Ranger District, National Forests in MS, Greene County, MS and may be reached by traveling east for 32 miles on Hwy 42 from Hattiesburg to Sandhill, then east on Hwy 42 to Road 232, then SE on Road 232 to the Turkey Fork Recreation Area. Work must be done between 7/7/03-8/29/03. Contract time is 30 calendar days if awarded to separate offerors. Repaving of Marathon Lake Recreation Area Roads- Project is located 14 miles SE of Forest, MS on the Bienville Ranger District, National Forests in MS, Smith County, MS and may be reached by traveling south on Hwy 501 from Forest, then 5 miles east on Road 508 to the Marathon Lake Recreation Area. Work must be done between 7/703-8/29/03. Contract time is 30 calendar days if awarded to separate offerors. IF BOTH ITEMS ARE AWARDED TO ONE OFFEROR, CONTRACT TIME WILL BE FROM 7/7/03-8/29/03. BID BOND IN THE AMOUNT OF 20 PERCENT OF THE OFFEROR MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH PROPOSAL. ON AWARD, CONTRACTOR MUST PROVIDE PAYMENT BOND & PERFORMANCE BOND EACH IN THE AMOUNT OF 100 PERCENT OF PROPOSAL OFFER TO CONTRACTING OFFICER WITHIN 15 DAYS. THE PROJECT IS NOT A SET-ASIDE. Solicitations may be obtained by FAX requests at 601/965-6029. Telephone requests are discouraged. PACKAGE WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FROM FEDBIZ OPPS, YOU MUST REQUEST SOLICITATION BY FAX. IF YOU WANT THE PACKAGE MAILED VIA FEDEX YOU MUST PROVIDE ACCOUNT NUMBER.
