Description
NA Anniston Army Depot is seeking companies capable of providing unlimited on-call emergency repairs and annual inspection/alignment for a Government owned, custom built, fixed rail, vertical single spindle, Ingersoll Mastercenter Gantry Machining Center (60 feet long). Machine is equipped with the following Auxiliary Spindle Units: Nutator Part No. 990-3901-19, Grooving Attachment Part No. 26933-43-690-9, Heavy Duty Vertical, Part No. 990-3895-19, Extended Horizontal, Part No. 990-3907-19, 1400mm Extension, Part No. 990-3902-19, and Double Right Angle, Part No. 990-5009-19. Machine control is a GE Fanuc 15MB with a high-speed serial bus connected to a PC. Emergency repairs shall be performed by contractor personnel that are experienced and knowledgeable in all phases of repair, service, and operations of the machining center. Emergency repairs shall consist of any work that is necessary to restore the equipment to a 100% performance level. The contractor must be able to provide high priority repairs for t he Machining Center. Contractor shall respond to the Government's request for technical support within twenty-four (24) clock hours after notification that services are needed. On-site response shall be within seventy-two (72) hours after notification th at services are required. Alignment shall consist of the following: level runways, check runway parallelism, check machine squareness, laser align all axes, check head tracking, check spindle unit offsets/sweeps, machine inspection, and make all required software changes and document these changes. The contractor shall make all reasonable effort to align and adjust the Machining Center within the original machine design specifications. Interested companies are requested to provide brochures, literature, published prices lists, POC?s for similar type repair work not later than 15 days after synopsis appears in the CBD.
