NA REQUEST FOR QUOTE FIRM FIXED PRICED CONTRACT WITH A BASE AND FOUR OPTION YEARS TO PROVIDE QUARTERLY INSPECTION OF GOVERNMENT OWNED ELECTRONIC MONITORING SYSTEMS (EMC) ON PETROLEUM STORAGE TANKS AND MAINTAIN THE REMOTE MONITORING SYSTEM (RMS) AT FT. CAMPBEL L, KY FOR THE NASHVILLE DISTRICT CORPS OF ENGINEERS. Work shall consist of the contractor conducting quarterly inspections of 24 electronic monitoring systems monitoring 47 individual tanks in accordance with the Statement of Work. A complete table of s ystems and inspection checklist will be provided in the Solicitation. Contractor shall be responsible for diagnosis of EMC alarms on government owned equipment and performing subsequent monitoring and system repairs during the contract period. Repair ne eds shall be identified by the contractor during the quarterly inspections or during emergency call-outs. The contractor shall plan for up to 24 emergency call-outs per contract year. Alarms not cleared on the spot will require a repair assessment report . All work shall be conducted in accordance with current industry practices and satisfy requirements outlined by the American Petroleum Institute (API), 40 CFR 280 and the National Fire Protection Association (NEPA). The solicitation is set aside for sma ll business under NAICS code 811219, ?Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance.? The small business size standard is $6,000,000.00 average yearly revenue over a period of three years. Bid evaluation will include the base and four op tion years. This solicitation is being advertised electronically only and at no cost from the Nashville Corps of Engineers. Nashville Corps of Engineers solicitation web site may be found at http://www.orn.usace.army.mil/contracting. It is anticipated t he solicitation will be issued by 31 May 2003. All interested firms must be registered in the Central Contract Register. All pertinent information will be posted on the web site. It will be the responsibility of each interested firm to check for amendmen ts to the solicitation on the web site. Estimated time for bid opening is 29 June 2003.
