Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Norfolk Detachment Washington intends to award a Sole Source Firm Fixed Price supply contract to One Lambda, Inc., 5516 Nicholson Lane, Kensington, MD 20895 for Lumnex tm reagents to be used with the Luminex tm luminescent imaging system. The HLA typing system will be used on a mass scale to type blood of volunteer potential donors for bone marrow transplant candidates in the Department of Defense Marrow Donor Program. This requirement will be awarded as a sole source procurement under FAR 6.302-1. See Note 22. A Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition has been prepared. All responsible sources may submit an offer, however, only services meeting the Navy?s requirements will be considered for award. All offers must be received in this office no later than 2:00 pm (EST) on 08 May 2003
