Description

AMENDMENT: This previously submitted COMBINED SYNOPSIS SOLICITATION was posted on April 25, 2003. The following information replaces the previous information in its entirety. This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation HAQ033020 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-12. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 332313 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 3443. This will be a firm fixed-price contract for the Bureau of Land Management. The aluminum box culvert will be used for river drainage under an existing road. Delivery is required within 45 calendar days. This solicitation has 1 line item. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS: 1) One 25'-5" span by 10'-2" rise by 67.5 feet long aluminum box culvert (structure 87-E) with a full invert, 24 inch inlet toewall, 0.175 inch haunch plate thickness, 0.250 inch thick crown plates, and all necessary hardware to erect. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY, PERFORMANCE, AND ACCEPTANCE: 1) Delivery shall be standard commercial practice and in a manner that will insure arrival at destination in a satisfactory condition and be acceptable to the carrier for safe transportation at the most economical rate F.O.B. to the BLM's Alsea Road Maintenance Shop located approximately 5 miles south of Alsea, OR, on BLM road 14-8-26; provide at least 24-hour notification prior to delivery. Delivery shall be made between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, holidays excluded (contractor shall unload all items); 2) Acceptance - Final inspection and acceptance of supplies will be made by the Government at the place of delivery. EVALUATION FOR AWARD will be on an all or none basis. QUOTATIONS SHALL INCLUDE: 1) Unit price with extended total; 2) FAR provision 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications-- Commercial Items.
