- Synopsis: This is a noncompetitive acquisition to Northrop Grumman Poly-Scientific Division, Litton Systems, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other suppliers or services will satisfy agency requirements. This acquisition is in support of the LANTIRN PROGRAM for the purchase of Amplifiers and Actuators, NSNs 1270-01-393-2380, 5996-01-506-4981AY, 5996-01-398-2147AY, 6105-01-390-4568AY, 1270-01-380-8079 and 5996-01-506-4980AY. The quantities will be best estimated in quantity ranges of 5 - 9 and 10 - 24. The requirement will include a basic year with four out year options. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 15 days after the publication of this notice. The approximate response date will be 30 days following posting of this solicitation in the CBD. If your concerns are not satisfied by the contracting Officer, an Ombudsman has been appointed to hear serious concerns that are not resolved through established channels. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or Contracting Officer, but to communicate serious contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
