Description: NA The Huntington District Corps of Engineers intends to procure a contract(s) for Security Upgrades within the boundaries of the Great Lakes and Ohio River Division. All responsive proposals will be evaluated utilizing the following factors (in descending or der of importance): 1. Specialized Experience and Technical Competence; 2. Supervision and Administration; 3. Past Performance in Similar Work; 4. Capacity (Ability of the Offeror to Provide the required Physical Plant and Supplies); 5. Safety; 6. Quality Control; 7. Location of Firm in the General Geographic Area. This procurement will result in Multiple Awards. At least two contracts will be awarded with a Not To Exceed value of $10,000,000.00 to $15,000,000.00 each. Each contractor who submits a prop osal on this procurement must be capable of mobilizing sizeable crews to multiple work sites and have multi-million dollar bonding capacity. These contracts will be awarded for a base year and have two (2) option years of one year each. This procurement i s unrestricted. Solicitation Documents will be issued on CD and will be available on 19 May 2003. There is no charge for plans or specifications.
