Description

NA The work consists of installing cellular concrete mattresses to prevent Placement Area erosion at areas fronting the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway (GIWW) and adjoining bodies of water along the GIWW between Bastrop Bayou and Matagorda Bay. This contract will be issued as an Indefinite Delivery type contract not to exceed one Fiscal Year from 1 October 2003 through 30 September 2004. The estimated cost range for this project is between $1 million and $5 million. The North American Industrial Classification Sy stem (NAICS) Code applicable to this project is 237990. The Small Business Size Standard is $28.5 million. The Galveston District's Subcontracting goals are: Small Business - 43.8%; Small Disadvantaged Business - 18.0%; Woman-Owned Small Business - 6.5%; S ervice-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business - 3.0%; Hubzone Small Business - 3.0%. Bid Opening will be held in Room 175. The plans and specifications will only be available via our website, on the issue date. It is the contractor's responsibility to regis ter on the website, to download plans and specs, and to check daily for any posted changes to this solicitation, at: www.swg.usace.army.mil/ct. Notification of amendments shall be made through paper or the Internet. However, the Government reserves the ri ght to use only the Internet as notification of any changes to this solicitation.
