Description: The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue a Firm Fixed Price contract to Kaiser Electronics, A Rockwell-Collins Company for training on the Heads Up Display (HUD), Multipurpose Display Indicator (DDI), and the Multipurpose Display Repeater Indicator (DDRI) in support of a foreign military service (FMS) customer. These components are a part of the F/A-18 aircraft weapon system. As the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), Kaiser Electronics is the only known firm that possesses the capability and requisite specialized experience, technical knowledge, and data of the aircraft design and operation to conduct this training to meet the FMS customer need within the required time frame.
