Description

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a sole-source contract to Thomson Financial for monthly updates on corporate officers and directors whose exercise of securities options exceeds $100,000 during a 30-day period. Thomson Financial is the only contractor that the SEC can certify that has the current and correct monthly listing of every corporate officer and director whose exercise of securities options exceeds $100,000 during a 30-day period. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR Part 6.302. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely considered within the discretion of the Government. See note 22.
