- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation, No FA4416-03-T-0036 is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-12. The NAIC code is 333120 and the size standard is 750 employees. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. If there is no offers received from a small business concern, this acquisition for small business set-aside may be dissolved and the acquisition open to all responsive bidders. NOTE: This acquisition will not be reposted to the Electronic Posting System if the acquisition is dissolved for 100% small business consideration. This solicitation contains two line items as follows: CLIN 0001 Asphalt Pothole Patcher. MFG: H.D. Industries, Model No. TM 415-100-DHE or equal (Qty 1 X _________ = Total _________). Specifications: basic trailer model TM 415-100-DHE/dry heat system with a 25 HP diesel engine; wacker model WP1550AW vibratory compactor plate; hydraulic rear lift platform; wanco WSB-14 directional arrow board; meteorlight model SY2000 strobe light; Stanley BR72 hydraulic pavement breaker; stellar SHD 43A hydraulic air compressor; air line hose reel; diesel fuel hose reel; 8 gallon water tank; hydraulic bi-fold steel top door; 10 gallon drip & waste oil tank; 50 gallon frame mounted LP gas bottle; hydraulic tool line hose reel; 10lb. ABC fire extinguisher with mounting bracket: CLIN 0002 Delivery and training: FOB Destination. The provision at FAR 52.212.1, Instructions to Offerors, applies to this acquisition, with an addendum. Multiple offerors and awards are hereby deleted from this solicitation. The offeror agrees to hold the prices in its offer firm for 60 calendar days from the date specified for receipt of offers. All offers must be limited to 1-page plus the specifications of all equal Asphalt Pothole Patchers mentioned above. The solicitation will be awarded to the lowest offeror who is responsive and responsible.
