- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is being issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) as a Brand Name or Equal in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.211-6. IT IS STRONGLY ADVI SED that you review FAR 52.211-6 for information regarding what must be included with your quote if you are submitting an 'Equal To' offer. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition C ircular (FAC) 2001-13 dated (March 18, 2003) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARs), 1998 edition, current to DCN 20030430. It is anticipated that payment will be made by Government VISA Credit Card. This requirement is being issue d as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. This acquisition is an 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 334290 with a size standard of 750 employees. The quote for ADIT Multiplexors for the RDTS shall consist of Contract Line Item (CLIN) 0001, quantity of two (2), ADIT 600 48 FXS Ports with Chassis, Power Supply TDM Controller, SNMP and RPM Management, 6-8 Port FXS Cards, Part Number 02-AA1-AAAAAA-00; CLIN 0002, quantity of fourteen (14), ADIT 600 Base Chassis, Power Supply, TDM Control SNMP an d RPM Management, Part Number 02-AA1-000000-00; CLIN 0003, quantity of eighty-four (84), FXO-8 Card, 8-Channel Expansion Cards, Part Number 740-0037. These ADITs will be used with the Range Data Testing System (RDTS) at the United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Arizona. If you provide a quotation for other than the Brand Name specified, you must provide evidence that the equivalent product you provide can fit into an existing 23-inch Nebs CO Rack Installation kits for mounting two Adit 600 chas sis side by side. The part number for the CO install kit is 710-019. FAILURE TO PROVIDE THE EVIDENCE OF ANY EQUIVALENT PRODUCT WILL DEEM YOUR QUOTATION AS NON-RESPONSIVE. All quotes shall be clearly marked with the Solicitation number DABK41-03-T-1502 a nd e-mailed to Lina.Franks@yuma.army.mil no later than 11:00 a.m. Mountain Standard Time (MST), Monday May 12, 2003. Offers that fail to furnish required representations or information as required by 52.212-1 cited below, or reject the terms and condition s of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration. The Government intends to award a contract to the responsible bidder whose bid conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government based on technical acceptability and pr ice. NOTE: You MUST include completed Offeror Representation and Certifications with your quote or your offer may be excluded from further consideration.
