- The Bureau of Reclamation has a commercial item requirement under Request For Quotation (RFQ) No. 03-SQ-34-0152 for obtaining 3-, 6-, 8-, and 10-inch wafer style, high performance, butterfly valves and actuators as complete units, with delivery to the Yuma Area Office, located in Yuma, Yuma County, Arizona, 85364. Reclamation intends to award a base year, and two option years, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract. Reclamation will have a maximum order of 482 units issued under individual delivery orders. Each year will have a minimum and maximum order. Award will be made to the responsible offeror that provides the lowest price, technically acceptable product. Evaluation factors are past performance, technical, price and delivery schedule. Quotes/proposals will require the submittal of supporting data for the evaluation factors. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set Aside action. For this acquisition, the NAICS Code is 421830 and the Size Standard is 500 employees. The estimated issuance date of the solicitation is May 16, 2003. The estimated deadline date for receipt of quotes is May 30, 2003, at 4:00 P.M., local time, at the Yuma Area Office. All dates in this announcement are estimated and are subject to change. The actual dates will be included in the solicitation. No documents will be available until the solicitation is issued. The electronic documents will be available in Adobe Acrobat PDF. The solicitation and any amendments or notices will be available at the Department of the Interior National Business Center (NBC) website, (http://ideasec.nbc.gov) and FedBizOpps (http://www.fedbizopps.gov). Offerors should register at FedBizOpps for email notification pertaining to the solicitation. The solicitation, once issued, may be downloaded from the NBC website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. The Department of the Interior requires the use of Central Contractor Registration (CCR) as the single validated source on vendors doing business with the Government. Prospective vendors shall be registered in CCR prior to the award of a contract. Lack of registration in CCR will make the offeror ineligible for award of a contract. The CCR Handbook and information on the registration process may be obtained via the CCR website (http://www.ccr.gov) or by calling 1-800-227-2423. Contractors are also required to register at the Department of the Interior NBC website (http://ideasec.nbc.gov) and place themselves on the Bidders Mailing List to view the Solicitation documents. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered by the agency.
