- Description
- It is the intention of this solicitation for the Contractor to provide short term (less than 59 days) vehicle rentals at the U. S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Maryland. The work includes, but is not limited to, providing sedans, vans and pick-up trucks under short term vehicle rentals. Vehicle rentals include delivery to and pick-up from the Naval Academy Transportation Garage at Perry Center with a full tank of gas, and allows for unlimited mileage by the U. S. Government military and civilian personnel. The term of the contract will be one (1) Year with 4 option years. The NAICS CODE is 532111. This project is unrestricted. The projected Bid Opening Date is 5 June 2003 @ 2:00 P.M. The solicitation will be available for download via the Internet World Wide Web at http://www.esol.navfac.navy.mil wibsite. This solicitation is available in electronic format only. All documents will be in the adobe Acrobat PDF file format. The free Acrobat Reader, required to view the PDF files, can be downloaded from the website. The official plan holders list will be maintained on and can be printed from the website. Plan holders list WILL NOT be faxed and will only be available from the website. IT WILL BE THE CONTRACTORS RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THE WEBSITE FOR ANY POSTED CHANGES. In accordance with DFAR 252.204-7004 all firms must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to any award of the contract.
