Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA), Philadelphia, is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to work as an independent contractor reviewing Social Security Disability Claims. There is no patient contact. Services, as needed, (approx. 6 hours per week) are performed on-site at 300 Spring Garden Street, Philadelphia, PA. This acquisition is being conducted under FAR subpart 13.5 - Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The period of performance will be September 1, 2003 or date of award, whichever is later, through April 30, 2004, with provisions for three one-year options. The solicitation is scheduled for release on or about May 28, 2003 with offers due 21 days later. This requirement is a 100% small business set aside. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 621111 and the size standard is $8.5M. Proposals received from other than small business concerns will be deemed unacceptable and will be given no further consideration. The solicitation (and any amendments) will be available for downloading on the Fed Biz Ops (FBO) web-site at www.eps.gov on or about the solicitation release date. All parties interested in submitting a proposal should download the solicitation from the FBO web-site. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be available. All interested parties should provide their name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address. No telephone requests for the solicitation will be honored.
