Description

The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Wildlife Services (WS), Pocatello, Idaho intends to acquire construction services for the heating, ventilation and air-conditioning system for the north warehouse and mixing-area interface at the Pocatello Supply Depot facility. This project is to eliminate ventilation and space configuration deficiencies located in the north warehouse mixing-area and mixing-laboratory of the Pocatello Supply Depot. The operational requirements dictate that adjourning areas be isolated but accessible through non-rigid partitions. Prior to construction, the contractor is required to submit shop drawings and cut-sheets. The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to renovate the HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical systems and other general construction in accordance with the statement of work, specifications manual and blueprints. This procurement will be awarded as a fixed price contract. It is anticipated that a single award will be made. All effort shall be completed within two months after award and the issuance of the notice to proceed. A copy of the solicitation, APHIS-03-010, is to be released on or about May 26, 2003. The solicitation which will include the specifications manual and blueprints as an attachment will be forwarded to all interested offerors by email. The offeror?s email address must be submitted in order for the solicitation to be forwarded electronically. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. Proposals will be due no later than 2:30 p.m. local time on June 23, 2003.
