- Description
- Operational Contracting, US Air Force Academy intends to award a sole source purchase order utilizing simplified acquisition procedures to VISX Eximer Laser for the following service: Provide maintenance service support as outlined in the Total Care Service Agreement for the VISX STAR EXIMER LASER SYSTEM. This service is being acquired for the 10th Medical Group, Laser Eye Clinic, United States Air Force Academy (10MDG/SGOSE). Supplies and/or services are available from only one responsible source, the only authorized service agents. No other type of supply or service will satisfy agency requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to meet this requirement. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. If no response is received by 13 MAY 03, Noon, MDT, to the effect that comparable supplies and/or services are available that would be more advantageous to the Government than obtaining these supplies and or services though a sole source procurement with VISX Eximer Laser, a sole source award will be made.
