Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items or services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), solicitation number F05611-03-T-0043 in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-13. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 334515 and the business size standard is 500 employees. The proposed acquisition is reserved for small businesses. Women owned and disabled veteran owned small businesses are encouraged to submit quotes. LINE ITEM 0001: High Frequency Lock-In Amplifier The Physics department has a requirement to purchase a lock-in amplifier. The lock-in amplifier is a device capable of selectively amplifying only those signals that occur at the same frequency as a reference signal. This allows the user to measure very low level signals that would ordinarily be lost due to electronic noise. System should consist of the following: ? RF Frequency Lock-In Amplifier ? 25 kHz to 200 MHz Bandwidth ? ?5 V (DC+AC) damage threshold ? 50 Ω or 1MΩ + 30 pF ? Sensitivity of 100 nVrms full scale at frequencies < 1 MHz ? Sensitivity of 1 ?Vrms full scale at frequencies < 50 MHz ? Sensitivity of 10 ?Vrms full scale at frequencies < 200 MHz ? Gain accuracy of ? 0.25 dB ? Gain stability of 0.2%/?C ? Coherent signal pickup of < 100 nV for frequencies < 10 MHz ? Coherent signal pickup of < 1.0 ?V for frequencies < 100 MHz ? Coherent signal pickup of < 2.5 ?V for frequencies < 200 MHz ? Input noise into a 50 Ω input of 2 nV/√Hz from 100 kHz to 100 MHz ? Input noise into a 50 Ω input of <5 nV/√Hz from 25 kHz to 200 MHz Total Price $_______ The FOB for this RFQ is Destination. Quotations received with other than FOB Destination pricing will not be considered. This is a 52.211-6 Brand Name or equal acquisition. The Brand Name specified is for a Stanford Research Systems Model SR844. To be considered for award, offers of ?equal? products must meet the salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics specified above. Include descriptive literature such as illustrations, drawings, or a clear reference to previously furnished descriptive data or information available to the Contracting Officer; and Clearly describe any modification the offeror plans to make in a product to make it conform to the solicitation requirements. Mark any descriptive material to clearly show the modification. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and the following addenda applies: The provisions at 52-212-2, Evaluation--Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: 1. Price alone. The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items applies to this acquisition.
