Description
NA Sources sought and comments requested on plan to purchase or lease a touring bus in support of I Corps 56th Army Band. Contractor shall provide a bus in accordance with the following minimum requirements. The Government intends to award a fixed price (purc hase) or a fixed price with one option year type contract (lease). The bus shall be used and shall have documented mileage of no more than 250,000 miles. If leased, the lease shall be for one-year with a possible one-year option. This bus shall be suitabl e in function and design for the transportation of personnel and equipment over long distances throughout the Pacific Northwest Region, including Washington, Oregon, Idaho California and Nevada. The bus shall be of the commercial motor coach design referre d to as an over the road bus. It shall include sufficient comfortable seating arrangement for 53 to 60 passengers in addition to the driver, as well as provide storage space for all personal baggage and equipment required by the Army Band when touring in a n official capacity. The overall dimensions of the bus shall approximate 45 feet in length, 11.5 feet in height, 8.5 feet in width, with a wheelbase of approximately 23 feet. The bus shall have an engine and drive train capable of producing a minimum of 430 horsepower. Automatic or manual transmission shall be acceptable. An engine compression brake (Jake brake) shall be included in the mechanics of the bus. There shall be one front-axle and 2 rear-axles. The fuel tank shall hold a minimum of 230 gallons of diesel fuel. Provision shall be made in the passenger compartment for space to hang garment bags. Racks shall be installed in the rear of the coach to allow each passenger to hang their garment bag separately from the passengers and other equipment. T here shall be a minimum of 440 cubic feet provided in the coach??????s undercarriage for storage of all equipment required on each band tour. The bus shall have an on-board lavatory at the rear of the passenger compartment. All windows shall include curt ains that can be opened or closed as required by the passengers on tour. These curtains shall be of suitable construction to allow complete privacy to passengers who must change their attire on board the bus. The bus shall have well-functioning air-condit ioning as well as heating installed. There shall be an on-board Intercom/Public address system, including a microphone at the head of the bus and speakers throughout. The base color of the bus shall be white. The I Corps logo, approximately 5 feet high, shall be affixed to both sides of the bus. The words, America's Corps, approximately 30 inches high, shall also be affixed to both sides of the bus. These logos shall be in the form of decals so as to allow easy application and removal at a later date. The size standard for any concern, including its affiliates, shall not be more than 100 employees; non-manufacturers 500 employees. NAICS: 423110 (purchase). The size standard for any concern, including its affiliates with an average annual sales or receipts for it preceding three fiscal years shall not be more than $21.5 million. NAICS: 532120 (lease). All offerors must have completed CCR registration. Information shall be accepted from all business concerns, but interested vendors must indicate whether o r not they are a small business as well as any other vendor categories under which they intend to submit information.
