- NA PROJECT SYNOPSIS MBMV000271 Replace Vehicle Maintenance Complex. SOLICITATION NOTICE Battle Creek Air National Guard Base, Battle Creek, Michigan. The project includes but is not limited to replacing vehicle maintenance complex (13,300 SF). Functional ar eas include administrative and training offices, maintenance bays, wash rack, maintenance shop, refueling maintenance bay, vehicle parking shed, and fenced parking area. Items of work include reinforced concrete foundation and floor slab, steel framed mas onry walls, and standing seam metal roof structure. Interior mechanical, electrical, and fire protection systems. Exterior utilities, pavements, site improvements, and support. Demolish two buildings and landscape the site. This solicitation is an 8(a) competitive set aside. This solicitation and resulting contract will include FAR 52.219-18, Notification of Competition Limited to Eligible 8(a) Concerns, Alt I. The servicing SBA office is the Detroit, Michigan District Office. In order to receive a c ontract award as a result of this solicitation, CONTRACTORS MUST BE LISTED IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTORS REGISTRY (CCR). Information regarding CCR is provided on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov. NAICS code of 233320 is applicable to this procurement. So licitation will be issued on or about 21 May 2003 and will be available via the web. Address is http://www.selfridgecontracting.com. Click on solicitations (top left blue box) to enter the Michigan National Guard Electronic bid board; click on the solici tation you are interested in. You will be required to register for the solicitation before you can download. This registration will also ensure an e-mail will be sent ensuring all contractors receive all modifications/amendments. However, it is the resp onsibility of the contractor to frequently check the web site for all notices, modifications/amendments regarding this procurement. The Government will not be liable or responsible for any e-mail notifications not sent or received by contractors regarding this procurement. The magnitude for this procurement is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Bid Opening Date is 30 days after issuance of solicitation.
